NSO results for stage 1 which was held on 9 and 23 November 2017 will be available till the last week of December 2017. The candidates who will successfully score a rank in NSO (National Science Olympiad) will be given a reward as it is declared by SOF (Science Olympiad Foundation). This Olympiad is conducted by Science Olympiad Foundation to check the ability and knowledge of the candidate in Science field. This exam is conducted for all the candidates related to Class 1 to 12. All the candidates who have appeared for the Olympiad exam can check their NSO results as it will be released.
All the related information regarding the result and the qualifying candidates are:
- The result will be declared till the last week of December.
- The candidates can check their National Science Olympiad results on the official website.
- Candidates have to fill their roll no. for checking their results in the given format roll no. – School code- Class number. For e.g. – An0001-04-001
- The candidates who have appeared for the first level exam and have scored in top 5% of the students will be qualified to apply for the next level exam.
- Top 25 rank holders Zone wise or State wise will also be eligible to apply for the next level exam.
- And, if from a class at least 10 students have appeared in the exam from each section and where participation in each section exceeds 25 numbers then their class topper will be qualified to apply for the next level NSO exam.
If any candidate successfully fulfils to score or qualify the first level NSO exam then he/ she will be able to appear in the next level exam. As, the next level exam will be held for Cyber, Science and Mathematics Olympiad for the students of class 3 to 12. If in case two or more candidates score the same numbers or marks then, in this case, their ranks will be awarded to the candidates who have scored higher marks in sections will be accorded higher priority. And, if similarly, the candidates have scored the same number of total marks in the same section then in this case both the candidates will be awarded the same rank.
NSO results will be declared in the last week of December 2017 this year. The candidates can go and check their results on the official website of Science Olympiad Foundation. When the results will be declared, after this the candidates have to fill his/her NSO Roll no. which was provided to them while they were registering themselves or while they were filling the application form for the Olympiad and after filling the roll no. correctly the candidate can click on the submit button. Thereafter, their result will appear automatically on the screen and the candidates can download their result. The candidates who will successfully qualify in Level 1 exam will be able to go to the next level i.e. Level 2.

The candidates have to fill the correct roll no. in the proper format as explained above. As no invalid roll no. will be accepted by the officials. The result will appear only for the candidates who are registered in the database. All the candidates are requested to take the print out of their appeared result as it will be helpful in future references.
